The combination of the authorities behind DAFZ, DSO and DCC will allow the zones to leverage combined strengths to deliver a stronger value proposition to customers. Relationships already exist between these zones and this integration will build on these bonds to offer business partners such as yourself, customers, and employees greater opportunities and an even more resilient future.
There is much potential for DAFZA, DSOA, and DCC to collaborate and jointly offer an even more compelling value proposition to tenants, which can have a significant commercial upside. We will also look for ways to share our distinctive resources, talent, and capabilities to improve business performance. These synergies will be evaluated over the coming months.
We will maintain DAFZA, DSOA and DCC as distinct brands to preserve the differentiated brand equity of the two zones, consistently under an overall group brand.
There will be no immediate change in contracts. Internally, we will be studying the impact on contracts in detail over the coming months, and will keep you duly informed / involved as this work progresses.
As a vendor, you will not see any change in the way in which you currently do business with DIEZ in the immediate term – you will continue to interface with the your existing DIEZ contact points in procurement and finance. In the medium to long term, there may be some changes to the way we conduct procurement activities – we will work that out internally over the next few months and keep you informed of any planned changes.

There will be no disruptions to the service levels and your existing relationship with DAFZ, DSO, and DCC.

Business and people continuity is a priority. DAFZA, DSOA, and DCC will be very focused and committed to carrying out their day-to-day activities over the next few months. Commercial opportunities are at the heart of this integration. Changes have only been considered if they enable these opportunities to be better captured. These are being evaluated in detail as we speak, and we will keep you informed as this work progresses.
A data confidentiality management protocol has been developed and will govern all data exchanges before Day 1. Suppose you are involved in the integration work. In that case, this protocol will be shared with you directly, and you may share confidential information within the bounds set by this protocol. If you are unsure, please reach out to the IMO team for clarification. After Day 1, all data can be shared freely as we will legally be one Authority, DIEZA.
Once a public announcement has been made, it is still critical that we speak with one voice during this critical period. Therefore, if you receive any inquiries from the media or third parties, please direct them to the IMO team.
